Alexander learns to ride his bike.

Aunt Kim and Uncle Charlie gave Alexander this bike over the summer and when he first got in his legs really weren't quite long enough to pedal all the way around. Since then we had convinced him to get on it maybe twice but to no avail. The other day one of the older boys that lives in the circle that Alexander loves to hang out with was riding his new bike so I convinced him to get his "big boy" bike out onto the circle and after a few seconds I let go and that was all it took. He thought he was something else.

Just Cute

Autumn loves nothing more than to go into Alexander's room and play with his toys.
Alexander is getting better about letting her :)

She also likes shutting doors.....

see you later

bye bye.
no grown ups allowed.

Christmas

Of course, we made cookies for Santa

When we were all done things were waaaayyy messier than this.

Autumn enjoying playing with a cup Christmas morning rather than the gifts Santa brought her. Go figure!

This was hig "big" gift. He and dad had fun putting it together and later Alexander had fun tearing it apart.

Autumn's First Birthday

Oh, the anticipation!

For two days we had the cake in the house and Alexander kept asking if he could have some and he is still at this point patiently waiting his turn...... or making plans to steal the cake :)

Yes Autumn, you've been busted.

Very kind of you to offer us some icing off your fingers.

She quickly got the hang of the "grap and stuff" technique.

"oops, did i make a mess?"

Mimi and Grandpa came to visit us for our Christmas before Christmas, so we celebrated Autumn's birthday while they were here.

Christmas Greeting Card Photo

And these two photos were the winners

This was the last photo and it was time to just hope that one turned out alright.

Autumn thought that maybe if she clapped for me i would stop torturing them

Not sure what to think about this one. :)

Here are all or most of the attempts at getting just the right photo for Christmas cards this year.

Oh no , the nose picking rears it's ugly head. not sure why Alexander thought he needed to be head level to Autumn?

Autumn kept wanting to look back at her big brother and Alexander kept giving me the goofiest grins.

She looks very uninterested. Autumn actually had a fever this day we were supposed to get photos taken at wal-mart and I canceled and decided that if i didnt' get the pictures taken they would never get done.

Christmas in November :)

This is real concentration

Super Excited!

Nana and Alexander time.

Autumn loves getting lovins. And Aunt Jessica is the best at dispensing the lovins.
